Step 1: Cut and Weed

To ensure a successful transfer, it is essential to follow these steps carefully. Begin by cutting your design in reverse, ensuring that the vinyl side is facing up, while the transparent backing film is facing down. Remove any excess vinyl, leaving only the desired pattern on the transparent backing paper.

Step 2: Heat and Transfer

Once your design is prepared, it's time to transfer it onto your garment. Place the vinyl with your design on the shirt, then cover it with a Teflon high-temperature cloth to protect the fabric from heat damage.

• Using a Home Iron: Heat the iron to a moderate temperature (302°F – 320°F), apply medium pressure to each part of the design for 10-15 seconds. Apply pressure of about 10 pounds.
• Using a Heat Press: Preheat the garment for 2-3 seconds, then apply the design at 305°F using medium pressure for 10-15 seconds.

Step 3: Cool Peel

Allow the vinyl to cool for 15-30 seconds, then peel off the transparent PVC backing paper. If any part of the vinyl lifts during peeling, repeat the steps until the backing can be removed without lifting the vinyl.
